| | DENUKE SELECTED FOR HEALTH PHYSICS
TECHNICIAN SUPPORT SERVICES AT BWXT Y-12
Oak Ridge, Tennessee October 21st, 2005
BWXT Y-12 has selected DeNuke Contracting Services, Inc. for Health Physics
Support Services in a competitive procurement set-aside for small businesses.
The scope of the five year, $3.1 million dollar contract includes providing
Senior and Junior Health Physics Technicians to support Y-12 Plant radiological
safety programs, operations and projects. DeNuke will be required to recruit,
train and qualify Health Physics Technicians under DOE and BWXT requirements,
and obtain personnel security clearances.
DeNuke, headquartered in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, incorporated in 2002, and employs
over 60 Health Physics, radiological engineering, waste characterization and
shipping specialists, decommissioning and remediation personnel. “ We are proud
to have been selected to become a part of the Y-12 National Security Complex

qualified people to BWXT who will make a positive contribution to improving

DeNuke has current project operations in support of DOE at the Melton Valley TRU
project, the East Tennessee Technology Park, Paducah, Kentucky, Los Alamos, New
Mexico, Idaho Falls, Idaho and commercial projects at Memphis, Tennessee,
Barnwell, South Carolina and New Orleans, Louisiana. This will be the first
DeNuke project for the NNSA.

The Y-12 National Security Complex is a premier manufacturing facility operated
by BWXT Y-12 for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) playing a
vital role in the Department of Energy's Nuclear Weapons Complex. Y-12 helps
ensure a safe and reliable U.S. nuclear weapons deterrent and retrieves and
stores nuclear materials, fuels the nation's naval reactors, and performs
complementary work for other government and private-sector entities.
